To realize the full value of a natural resource, we believe that a mine must be technically feasible, economically profitable, and environmentally and socially acceptable. A mine that meets these criteria is a mine of the 21st century. By having a sustainability-centric approach since inception, we are designing our cornerstone asset, Valjevo, to realize its full potential value for our stakeholders.
Our asset development strategy is to consistently evaluate our decisions so that our values — ReTHINK, ReSTORE, and ReCHARGE — are being fulfilled. This approach will grant us the environmental and social right to operate, optimizing short, medium and long-term returns for all.

Renewable geothermal energy Potential for the city of Valjevo and surrounding areas
Initiated by our subsidiary company in Serbia, Euro Lithium Balkan (ELB), the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Mining and Geology completed a Study on the Potential of Geothermal Energy for the City of Valjevo in late 2022. The study identified five promising areas and included estimates of volume and temperature. To continue evaluating Valjevo’s geothermal potential, ELB applied to the Serbian Ministry of Mining & Energy for geothermal resource exploration licenses to initiate a confirmatory research drilling program.
